Don't worry we haven't given up

I know it's been like 3 months since the last update however there has been a he'll of a lot of progress.  We've now had the car sandblasted and have replaced the driver footwell, both inner sills, inner stiffeners, and added a new full lrnth inner stiffener.  Around 10 small repair patches have been made and welded on along with a full floor on the passenger side. Both outer sills have been welded on and the bracket on the front sill end for the lower frame and a sill end at the back off side of the car.

We've added to the cellar of parts all brakes. New master cylinder ball joints brake servo radius arm new e type fabs frames and have got back a lot of zinc plated parts and painted irs frame and wishbones new springs coils amongst a list that could go on forever. Basically 3 trips to hutsons.

Mow currently have cut the boot and both rear quarter panels and repaired both inner wheel arches and are now replacing the damaged inner valance then will go on to replace the boot and quarts then have to weld on the patches for the space between a and b posts where the cill joins them.

I'll take some pics tonight and upload asap. I plan to get back on top of the blog and now there's so many pics to upload it should get a bit more interesting.

I'm really looking forward yo the flatting down phase before paint as it really is the TLC that this piece of art needs.

We think that if we keep going at the pace we have been then the car could be in paint before winter properly hits and there is a chance it could be complete and om the road mid summer 2015. Both me and my dad are so eager to drive the legendary XK straight 6 engine and have 1E10012 back to its former glory.
